Maintenance Bypass Switches
All critical UPS installations should include an External Maintenance Bypass Switch (EMBS) as an integral part of the installation. The EMBS allows routine
preventative maintenance and repair work to be carried out on the UPS in complete safety without having to remove power from the supported load. The EMBS
isolates AC mains from the UPS which means the UPS can be removed or relocated if required.
|
 |
| EMBS are available for single and three phase UPS systems and can be fitted with a dual input
when required. Depending upon the requirement EMBS can be tailored to specific requirements and can include the output distribution within the same enclosures,
eliminating the additional cost of a distribution board. |
